about
The theme of this track is loss. The first verse, written by Max Metcalf, expresses the emotions he felt following the death of his Aunt Bonnie due to cancer. The second verse, written by Cole Mendez, recounts his experience with losing his Grandmother to cancer.
The song has an instrumental build, which culminates in the auditory realization of the heavy emotions one feels after losing someone close to them.
In memory of Rita Ranney of Bonnie McKendrick.
